THE CONTEXT JOURNAL / READING GUIDE

Prepare the learning conversation before the commitment

Ask for the actual syllabus, practical arrangements, costs and meaning of the proposed outcome.

01

Name the learning question

Begin with the task or role you want to understand and the relevant experience you bring. A reading guide can help organise questions without deciding your readiness or progression. Keep a personal learning aim distinguishable from a provider's actual published offer.

02

Request the current programme account

Ask the responsible institute for the approved syllabus, entry requirements, place of delivery, supervision and practical arrangements. Similar programme titles do not explain all those conditions. Keep the exact source and the date of any confirmation with your notes.

03

Understand the proposed commitment

Ask for the complete cost, cancellation and change terms, and the wording of the intended outcome before making a commitment. This publication announces no programme dates, fees or guaranteed professional results. A private enquiry here does not make an admissions or booking decision.

04

Keep different responsibilities visible

Teaching, educational publishing, independent examination and employment are different roles. Ask the organisation responsible for a particular claim to explain its actual scope and evidence. A network link does not establish automatic eligibility, recognition, placement or a career guarantee.
